Subject:
Is "Cheat" really the word you want to use?
Lately, several coaching clients have been referring to "cheat meals" or "cheat days" or "cheating" - always in the context of behaviors that deviate from their expressed long-term goals.
I made a 4-minute video explaining why I'm troubled by the word "cheat" in this context.
If you find yourself thinking about "cheating," I hope this video will encourage you to construct a different metaphor - one that won't subconsciously reward the behavior.
